I was constantly hearing about Andrew Spalter - my friends would pitch him as the cute, jewish entrepreneur who was apparently just my type. About two years later, our paths finally crossed. I was leaving on a red-eye flight to Thailand for two weeks, but I quickly stopped by our mutual friend's birthday party in West Hollywood to drop off a cake. Naturally, I was the first to arrive, and lo and behold Andrew was right behind me. We got to talking and I immediately knew I had met someone really special. It only took Andrew 24 hours to lock in our first date for the night after I got back from Thailand. On our first date, we bonded over our shared love for our families, our mutual obsession with traveling, and our big dreams for our careers and businesses. Andrew perfectly reflected anything and everything I had ever hoped for in a life partner, let alone a first date. He secured our second date on the first date, which ended up being the following night. We continued to make plans and more plans, and after dating for two weeks, I told Andrew he was my boyfriend (yes, you read that correctly) and the rest is history!
